Livros em Portugues na Biblioteca - Portuguese Books at the Library

No dia 7 de novembro de 2009 as familias do Clube do Livro realizaram uma feijoada muito especial, o Feijojax.  Atraves do evento, conseguimos comprar 40 livros infantis em português, que doamos a biblioteca.  A biblioteca, em torno, comprou uns 100 livros infantis em portugues, divididos entre o Southeast Branch Library e o Main Library.  Para continuar enchendo as nossas pratileiras, Feijojax retornara este novembro.  Fiquem atentos!

On November 7, 2009 the families involved in Clube do Livro held their very first Feijojax, a very special feijoada.  As a result of this even, we were able to buy 40 children's books in portuguese, which we donated to the library.  The library, in return, purchased about 100 books in portuguese, held at the Southeast Branch Library and the Main Library.  To keep our collection growing, Feijojax will be back this November.  Stay tuned!
